Introduction On June 30, 1997, I Clarence “Skip” Roberts was indicted for Aggravated Robbery in violation of R.C. 2929.13 and Aggravated Murder, in violation of R.C. 2903.01 with a death penalty specification in connection with the robbery and death of Leo Sinnett on May 17, 1997. I was sentenced to serve a prison term of ten years on the aggravated robbery conviction and a term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for the aggravated murder conviction.
