Introduction Brief Description of the Crime On April 19,1998 at 12:28 P.M., York City Police officers responded to a phone call from a neighbor of victim Miriam Ascencio reporting that her door glass was broken, and a man was laying motionless inside on the floor. Introduction Lorenzo Johnson and his co-defendant Corey Walker were tried and convicted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, of first degree murder and conspiracy. Johnson was sentenced to life without parole plus 5-10 years. The shooting victim in this case is Tarajay Williams. Johnson is from New York and he was visiting friends off and on in Harrisburg. Introduction Arnim Evans was arrested on March 22, 1997, and charged with murder of Rose Ann Youngblood and Pam Blue, and two (2) related counts of rape. More than two years later, Evans was still in jail awaiting trial. There was no thorough investigation and no trial. George Rahsaan Brooks

Introduction On September 30, 1975, George R. Brooks went to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for treatment of a neck injury. While there, George Brooks, Dale Freddy Harris and Michael Miller (the victim in this case) talked together for a few minutes. Brooks left the hospital alone after his treatment. Later that evening, Michael Miller was discovered injured by the police and told them he was drinking with some friends when one of them punched him and took his money. He was hospitalized.
